Biography
My art is a blend of representational painting with conceptual ideas. The foundation of my work is the exploration of both the interior and exterior environments and the personal narratives that emerge from that process.
With a background in interior design and fine art, I seek to blur the lines between the lives we lead within the context of our architecture and the surrounding landscape. In my work, focus might be placed on a simple arrangement of chocolate truffles on a tabletop or an ambitious representation of the California terrain.
I have lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area for over thirty years. Currently, I teach drawing and presentation techniques for interior designers and devote most of my day to making art. I am married and have three daughters.
