I have been painting for over twenty-five years. In 1983, I received my BFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute. I have exhibited at the SFMOMA Artist’s Gallery, the Oakland Museum of California, and the Laguna Gloria Museum in Austin, Texas. My work also resides in many private collections. In recent years, my interest in interior and furniture design has increased.

I’m primarily interested in the California landscape as subject matter for my paintings. I find all ranges of terrain, from the snow covered Sierra to the abandoned refinery, to be equally important sources for my paintings. Now my biggest challenge lies in the blending of disciplines, art and design, into a body of work which best expresses my interpretation of our daily landscape.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my wife April and three daughters, Jessie, Becca, and Emily.
